Europa Wools Limited is a family owned business established in 1988 as merchants, stockists and processors of wool and textile fibres. Our expertise, which now spans more than 30 years, has enabled us to become a major player in the world textile industry.
We aim to know about every kind of textile fibres available, where to source it at the most competitive price, anticipating customer demand and stocking a range of fibres to meet their requirements.
With our stock-holding capability, combined with our expertise and a superior level of service, enables us to be extremely competitive and maintain quick delivery times.
We supply manufacturers all over the world which include spinners of weaving, knitting, upholstery and carpet yarns, as well as felt-makers, technical non-woven and home-ware manufacturers.

WOOL
We supply wools of many origins from 17.5 to 38 microns, specialising in New Zealand, Australian and British wool.
We also source and stock scoured wools from many other origins such as South Africa, South America and various European origins. If we don’t have a wool that meets your requirements from stock, with our expertise and sourcing capability we can generally supply any wool you require at competitive prices and unbeatable quality.
FROM AROUND THE WORLD
We mainly specialize in scoured wools from New Zealand, Australia, Falkland Island and British Breeds.
LOOKING FOR FALKLAND?
We select the best style, snow white fleeces for our Falkland types. We stock good length fleeces in microns ranging from 19 Microns up to 29 Microns. Generally very clean fleeces at no more than 0.3% VM.
BEAUTIFUL BREED
Best quality tops for many applications in the worsted spinning sector. We specialize in South American Tops ‘Monte Video’ in Microns ranging from 18.5 Micron up to 29.5 Microns. We have a wide range of British tops from the rare breeds to the run of the mill crossbred types.
HUGE VARIETY
We stock a wide range of NZ types including lambs, slipes, fleeces and pieces. We mainly carry average to good colour grades ranging from 22 Microns – 38 Microns, lengths of 1-3” up to 4-6” with low VM percentages.
THE BEST OF BRITISH
Being a registered trader with the British Wool Marketing Board we have access to all the British wool types in the wool auction. We aim to have a good variety in natural shades and good colour, clean types, ranging from 28 Micron to 38 Microns.
IT'S ALL IN THE DETAIL
We stock many different types of broken and open tops from the best quality combers. Tops from South Africa ‘Cape’ ranging from 18 Microns to 22.5 Microns. We also stock Australian tops, 17.5 Microns to 22.5 Microns and European Tops 24 Microns to 30 Microns.
EXPERT SOURCING
We stock many Australian types, including Lambs, Fleeces and Pieces. The bulk of our Australian wools are lamb and fleece types, ranging from 18 Micron up to 28 Micron, best style and good colour. VM of no more than 0.3%.
SUPERB QUALITY
Our main stock of Carbonised wools are Australian Lamb types. Best style, good length, super colour in Microns ranging from 18 Micron up to 28 Micron. We also stock and source Carbonised lamb and fleece types from many other origins, such as South Africa and South America.
THE DESIRED EFFECT
We stock and source various types of fibres for effect in knitting, weaving and carpet yarns. Our range includes Wool Burrs, Wool Nepps, and Wool Slubs in both Scoured and Carbonised form.

SOMETHING SPECIAL
We offer a wide range of speciality fibres in combed tops, scoured and also noils. These fibres include Silk, Alpaca, Mohair, Cashmere and many other types. With our knowledge and expertise we can source and supply many different types at competitive prices and unbeatable quality.
HUGE VARIETY
With a large stock holding of synthetic types we can offer consistent quality, fast delivery and competitive prices. Nylon is our strength, offering semi dull staple fibre in various lengths, and combed tops. Other types include polyester staple fibre, Acrylic, and Viscose.
PROCESSES
IT'S WHAT WE DO
We can scour any grade of greasy wools.
From a minimum of 100kgs up to large runs of any weight.
BESPOKE BLENDING
We can create blends from all natural fibres and synthetic fibres. Looking for something unique? We can bespoke gill blend combed tops to create blends of many fibres. Starting from as little as 10kgs up to large runs.
HOWEVER YOU WANT IT
We can hank all types of yarns from 50g skeins up to 5kg skeins using a measured length system. We also provide a balling service, balling hand knitting yarns in minimum ball weights of 50g.
KROY HERCOSETT TREATMENT
We can kroy hercosett (superwash) scoured wool and combed wool tops. This treatment removes the scales from the fibre to prevent felting and shrinkage.
EXPERT COLOUR MATCHING
From only 15kgs up to large runs, we can dye loose stock or tops for all types of natural and synthetic fibres. Using high tech colour matching systems, we can match any colour that is required on most fibres.
SPECIAL REQUEST
Our other processes include garneting, carding, precision cutting, random cutting and opening and pulling. Please contact us if you require a service that is not listed.
NATURAL COMBING
We can comb most natural fibres, our main combing production is wool.
UNIQUE YARNS
We can spin on the woollen or worsted system. Creating unique yarns and blends from weaving yarns up to knitting yarns. We can supply these on cone ready for dyeing or reeling.
